This mill, originally powered by water, was born at the end of the 19th century on the initiative of an Acrese family. In 1968 it was purchased by the Calabrian brothers, who, in 1999, transferred its ownership and management to the current partners. Therefore the company has been managed by the Calabrese family for 50 years now. In the 70s the electrification of the operating system was carried out.
From the 90s onwards production began with the cylinder process, this processing takes place using machines called rolling mills inside which there are counter-rotating cast iron cylinders which work on the grain in a different way step by step.
In our mill we process national soft wheats grown in the area and non-genetically modified community wheats.
From the grinding and sifting of these grains we obtain various types of flour:
-Type “00” soft wheat flour
-Wholemeal flour
-Soft wheat semolina
