Ci troviamo in Calabria sul mare Jonio al centro del golfo di Taranto, comune di Amendolara, uno degli ultimi comuni della provincia di Cosenza e della stessa regione ai confini con la Basilicata.

Siamo nel cuore della Magna Grecia tra Metaponto e Sibari ove nel 600 a.C. sorgeva la città di Lagaria che occupava un intero pianoro.

Questo lembo di territorio calabro è caratterizzato da pianori sul mare, un anfiteatro naturale. Lo sguardo, ad ovest, può ammirare le cime delle montagne del Pollino, ad est, a pochi metri, lo splendido mare Jonio. I pianori sono interrotti, a nord e a sud, dalle caratteristiche fiumare, corsi d’acqua a carattere torrentizio.



Agri Carrozza è un agriturismo sul mare, immerso nella natura, paesaggio incantevole, in cui il vecchio ed il nuovo convivono rispettandosi e valorizzandosi a vicenda. Il calore del mattone, del legno e della pietra si sposa con le ampie vetrate e l’insieme fa da cornice alla natura e ai colori delle stagioni.

Siamo a pochi metri dalla spiaggia e sul primo pianoro (50 m s.l.m.).

Da noi si può ammirare, all’alba, il sorgere del sole dall’orizzonte marino, durante il giorno, l’azzurro e l’immensità del cielo confondersi con l’acqua diventando un tutt’uno, di sera, il sorgere della luna che allieta dolci e peccaminosi sentimenti.

L’agriturismo nasce da un’azienda agricola di 10 ettari di terreno dove si producono solo prodotti biologici. Agli ospiti offriamo prodotti dell'azienda o di agricoltori del luogo tutti controllati e naturali.

We are in Calabria on the Ionian sea in the middle of the Gulf of Taranto, municipality of Amendolara, one of the last municipalities of the province of Cosenza and the same region on the border with Basilicata.

  We are in the heart of Magna Graecia between Metaponto and Sibari where in 600 a.C. stood the city of Lagaria which occupied an entire plateau.

  This strip of Calabrian territory is characterized by plateaus on the sea, a natural amphitheater. The view, to the west, can admire the peaks of the Pollino mountains, to the east, a few meters, the splendid Ionian sea. The plateaus are interrupted, to the north and south, by the characteristic rivers, torrential rivers.

 

  Agri Carrozza is a farm on the sea, surrounded by nature, enchanting landscape, where the old and the new live together respecting and enhancing each other. The warmth of the brick, wood and stone is combined with the large windows and the whole is the setting for the nature and the colors of the seasons.

  We are a few meters from the beach and on the first plateau (50 m s.l.m.).

At dawn, you can admire the sunrise from the sea horizon, during the day, the blue and the immensity of the sky merge with the water becoming a whole, in the evening, the moonrise cheering sweet and sinful feelings.
