Madreterra è una piccola azienda biologica di Calabria che intende realizzare il progetto ambizioso ed etico di volere tutelare la salute dei consumatori offrendo alimenti sani, nel profondo convincimento che la sicurezza alimentare inizi dal produttore. L’azienda è stata fondata nel 2014 da Edoardo Giudiceandrea, dopo che aveva lavorato in un’azienda del settore industria per 25 anni come ingegnere con incarichi manageriali. La scelta di abbandonare un’attività lavorativa di prestigio ha fondato le sue radici nella ricerca di un rapporto più stretto con i cicli della natura, che concretizzasse la volontà di partecipare alla costruzione di un mondo migliore. E così un uliveto di 4 ettari in Calopezzati, lasciatogli in eredità dal padre, è diventato il primo passo verso la MadreTerra.
A Calopezzati, un borgo medievale della Calabria, posto su di una collina affacciata sul vicino mar Jonio (a pochi km a sud di Corigliano-Rossano) produciamo olio, miele e agrumi nel totale rispetto dei cicli naturali e senza utilizzare pesticidi, nemmeno quelli consentititi dai disciplinari che regolano l’agricoltura biologica.Crediamo fermamente, come consumatori e come produttori di generi alimentari, che la tracciabilità dei prodotti debba essere assoluta ed estesa a tutta la filiera, perché solo in tal modo diventa credibile.
Per questo motivo i nostri prodotti vengono suddivisi in lotti, che individuano l’appezzamento dove è stato fatto il raccolto e il periodo di produzione.

Per meglio garantire la tracciabilità e la qualità del prodotto finale, inoltre, tutte le fasi di produzione dell’olio Madreterra sono gestite direttamente da noi: coltiviamo i nostri oliveti, raccogliamo le olive, le trasportiamo entro poche ore al nostro frantoio per ottenere l’olio che poi stocchiamo e confezioniamo prima di vendere direttamente, nel massimo rispetto della natura, dei luoghi, delle persone.Il nostro obiettivo è quello di raggiungere quelle persone che condividono i nostri principi e così di diffondere i prodotti di un’agricoltura fondata su una scelta di vita improntata a valori di benessere, di ecologia e di cura della fertilità della nostra Madreterra.

In Calopezzati, a medieval village in Calabria, located on a hill overlooking the nearby Ionian Sea (a few km south of Corigliano-Rossano) we produce oil, honey and citrus fruits in total respect of natural cycles and without using pesticides, not even those allowed. from the regulations governing organic farming. We firmly believe, as consumers and as food producers, that the traceability of products must be absolute and extended to the entire supply chain, because only in this way does it become credible.
For this reason, our products are divided into lots, which identify the plot where the harvest was made and the period of production.

Furthermore, to better guarantee the traceability and quality of the final product, all the production phases of the Madreterra oil are managed directly by us: we cultivate our olive groves, we collect the olives, we transport them within a few hours to our oil mill to obtain the oil that we store and pack before selling directly, with the utmost respect for nature, places and people.Our goal is to reach those people who share our principles and thus to spread the products of an agriculture based on a lifestyle choice based on the values ​​of well-being, ecology and care of the fertility of our Motherland.
